Exhibition

A fair chock-full of meeting opportunities

The 2010 Québec Exploration event will see a significant expansion of the exhibits component, with more geosciences space given over to Géologie Québec geologists and their partners. In addition, a new hall will accommodate even more businesses that wish to put their products on display.

New space available for exhibit booths!

Since the trade fair component of the event has proved to be so popular, the organizing committee is pleased to announce that a new exhibition hall will be added in the Café de la Terrasse in order to accommodate more exhibitors.

The trade fair is where the main mining exploration actors gather: it’s a “must-do” event for attendees.

The Core Shack

Knowing how important diamond drilling core results are to mineral exploration projects, we have reserved a well-situated hall where you can announce your most impressive drilling results. Adjacent to the main ballroom, the core shack is open to prospecting companies. Single or multiple tables can be rented for from one to three days, depending on your needs.

The geoscientific knowledge and information technology crossroads

2010 promises to be a record year for knowledge! A significant number of research projects, generating many new exploration targets, will be revealed by the MRNF’s geologists and their partners from government, research centres and universities. The space allocated to them will therefore be doubled.

In addition, all government representatives in charge of mining information technologies will be located in a single area, close to geosciences exhibitors, making it easy to take advantage of the synergies between science and information technology.

More than ever, here comes the new generation of geoscientists!

As part of a competition organized by AQUEST, earth sciences students will be able to exhibit the results of their research in poster form. A jury will judge presentations and a cash prize awarded to the best one. Competition registration information will be available on the Québec Exploration web site in June.

Prospectors room

Québec has quite a number of active prospectors.

Come meet them at Québec Exploration, where they will be pleased to show off their samples and discuss their discoveries.

All exhibition halls are open from 9 a.m., from November 23 through November 25 inclusively.
