THE RIGHT PLACE TO EXPLORE!
NOVEMBER 26 TO 29, 2007 CHÂTEAU FRONTENAC, QUÉBEC

Baie-James
Exclusive unveiling of 102 unstaked target areas with excellent auriferous potential at Québec Exploration 2007!

Results of the evaluation of orogenic-type gold mineralization potential in the James Bay area will be unveiled for the first time in Salon Montcalm (poster 200-201), on Tuesday, November 27, at the opening of the exhibition. Conducted by Daniel Lamothe (Géologie Québec), the study reveals 102 unstaked target areas with excellent potential for mesothermal gold deposits.

A list of the target areas and maps will also be available (PRO 2007-05). Lastly, a PDF version of the mineral potential maps will be available at a later date on the ministry’s website (http://www.mrnf.gouv.qc.ca/english/maps/index.jsp).

In another first at Québec Exploration 2007, an image of the gold potential and of the most favorable zones identified by the study will be available simultaneously on GESTIM. This addition will clearly facilitate the obtainment of mineral titles in the unstaked sections of high-potential areas.
