Québec Exploration 2007 is privileged to host the official launch of Québec's International Year of Planet Earth.
"International Year of Planet Earth (IYPE), proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly and whose activities are spread over three years (2007-2009), aims to promote public awareness of the importance of the earth sciences by demonstrating new and exciting ways in which earth sciences can help future generations meet the challenges involved in ensuring a safer and more prosperous world."
